At the heart of Priory Park Care Home is our highly skilled team of Health Care Assistants and Nurses that make the difference. We invest in our team to ensure they are trained to provide the high standards of care that our Residents and their families should expect.
Our management team and staff are passionate about supporting families and you are welcome at any time to discuss any aspects you might be struggling with.
One of the key areas to ensuring our residents have the best quality of life is to create a plan of care that is as individual and person-centred as possible. Our aim is to make a real and lasting difference to the people we support by achieving positive outcomes and enabling as normal and fulfilling a life as possible.

Position: Matron
Kirsty is a registered general nurse with a passion for caring for those with complex physical and mental health needs. She has been in the company since 2011, starting as a care assistant and then qualifying in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Nursing (Adult). Once qualified, Kirsty spent time working on an acute medical ward (Gastroenterology) at Blackpool Victoria Hospital whilst continuing to work with Zion. In 2017, Kirsty was offered the matron post at Pilling Nursing Home which brought the opportunity to commission a new home, helping to build up the reputation of Pilling Nursing Home and work towards gaining the ‘GOOD’ rating with CQC. Kirsty is enthusiastic about delivering a high standard of care provision and supporting staff with continual development and training opportunities. Kirsty is always happy to help with any queries you may have and provide support to reassure you throughout what can be a difficult time.
Ann- Marie
Position: Deputy Matron
Ann-Marie is the deputy matron at Pilling Nursing Home. She is a qualified mental health nurse who has a wealth of experience providing nursing care for people with not only Dementia but various other mental health conditions. Ann-Marie is very knowledgeable and is focused and driven on ensuring the well-being of our residents whilst working closely with other healthcare professionals to co-ordinate effective care. Ann-Marie works closely with the staff to ensure they are supported and educated on our client’s care needs whilst also endeavouring to motivate and be proactive with continual professional development. Ann-Marie is very passionate and will always work to find solutions and promote best practice. Ann-Marie spent time working at The Harbour which is a mental health facility where she was able to develop a robust knowledge and understanding around mental health conditions, therapies and the effects this may have on families. Ann-Marie started with us at Pilling Nursing Home in March 2020 as Clinical Lead and was promoted after seeing how well she worked at the home.
Anne
Position: Nurse Administrator
Anne is our nurse administrator who predominantly supports management to co-ordinate care provision. Anne has been in the company for over 20 years and has in-depth knowledge and understanding around the principles of care. Anne is very experienced in providing support to service users with various care needs and managing care provision for those with complex behavioural requirements. Anne offers guided support and mentorship to her colleagues and ensure the standard of care is maintained at all times. Anne has a passion for delivering a high standard of care and ensuring our resident’s have the best possible experience during their stay.
